Urinary incontinence is a loss of bladder control. It can result from neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis or weakened bladder muscles. It is more common in women.
Research has shown that cannabis can reduce both the episodes of incontinence as well as the urge to urinate.
Cannabis should certainly be considered if patients have a poor response to prescription medications.
